Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski invites doctoral students from the University of Nis to the Doctoral Summer School on Research Methods in Social Sciences and the Humanities, organised in cooperation with the European University Institute in Florence, Italy between 24th June and 27th June 2019. This is the first joint event after Bulgaria’s joining the European University Institute in 2015.

The European University Institute (EUI) is a unique international centre for doctorate and post-doctorate studies and research, situated in the Tuscan hills overlooking Florence. Since its founding in 1972 the EUI has earned a reputation as a leading international academic institution with a European focus. The four departments – Economics, History and Civilization, Law, and Political and Social Sciences – host scholars from more than 60 countries, studying for the Institution’s doctorate or the
one-year master in law.

The Sofia University Summer School is open for applications by doctoral and Master degree students in political and social sciences, history and law at the following registration website http://phdsu.blogspot.com/ or by email to the following email address . There is a limited number of grants, covering tuition and accommodation costs for international doctoral students. Applications are accepted by the 20th June 2019. Applicants will be informed within three days of the submission of their applications.
