How do I apply for a Travel Bursary?

FISITA offers students the opportunity to apply for a Travel Bursary, of up to EUR 2000, to help with the costs of taking part in work placements (internships, exchange programmes etc.) in mobility companies and research institutions worldwide

To be eligible you need to have secured a placement abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks, have an academic and a host reference and be studying engineering

In today's global mobility systems engineering industry, experience of working as an engineer in another country is extremely valuable. These types of work experience can be life-changing and can lead to permanent jobs. They also allow students to make new friendships, develop professional contacts and gain invaluable experience in an ever-evolving and exciting industry.

David Silverstein, who was awarded a FISITA Travel Bursary to support him with his placement at Federal-Mogul in France, said:
